So I was NOT a girl on a budget this month. It seems like I spent more, but hauled less. Not sure how that happened. Well, it probably has a lot to do with a certain Virtual Signing release. Let’s check out the numbers.

Category Previous Balance Spent This Month Remaining Balance
Barnes & Noble $25.00 $0.00 $0.00
NOLA Story Con $0.00 $0.00 $0.00
Buns & Roses (w/Bear) $75.00 $0.00 $75.00
Boas & Tiaras $50.00 $0.00 $50.00
Readers & Ritas $180.37 $0.00 $180.37
Audible $223.59 $24.84 $198.75
Books $732.71 $109.49 $623.22
Totals Starting Budget Amount Spent Remaining Budget
$1229.00 $134.33 $1094.67

Those numbers were shocking. I feel a bit ashamed at that book total for the month, especially considering the size of the haul. The Chosen hit me hard. I did the Virtual Signing as well as buying the ebook. I also HAD to have the final Chicagoland Vampire series installment, Blade Bound, in paperback to complete my collection. There is a Book Outlet order in here where I started picking up books in another series I want to start, the Glory St. Claire series by Gerry Bartlett. It looks really funny. Has anyone read these? Would you recommend them? Let’s see what made it to my shelves this month!

April was a crazy month and I have no idea where it went. Our family had multiple birthdays this month as well as Easter falling in there. Things just seemed to zoom by. I’m still working on creating an Etsy store with some new crafts I’ve been putting together. It’s kind of willy nilly right now. I plan these products, then for some reason it ends up taking me a lot longer to actually complete them than I expect. I’ve been trying to split my weekend into craft days and blogging days to keep things at least moving somewhat. When I get a few more products loaded, I’ll put a link to the store in my sidebar in case anyone wants to check it out. I started out wanting to do planner products, but somehow I’ve ended up putting other things into the mix. The store is going to end up with a little bit of everything I think. I hope you’ll all stop by TD Crafts and Creations, give it a favorite so you’ll get updates when I launch new product. I think that my weekends are going to settle down a bit now that we are out of April and I won’t be stretched so thin. I’ll be able to get more product created, and hopefully get caught up in a big chunk of reviews.

Speaking of reviews, May is Clean Sweep ARC Clean-up with Kimberly over at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. If you haven’t signed up yet, go here and get your name in. There is a giveaway and I believe the Twitter chat is mid-month. I’m really going to push this month as I have a huge stack to get through.

So how was everyone’s Easter? Hopefully you got a LOT of chocolate! Let me know how your April was!
