November was a pretty quiet book month for me. I did use up an audio credit as well as grabbed a freebie and some review books. Also, there was a virtual signing for one of J.R. Ward’s books this month, and we all know what that means. Tanya must buy. So I purchased a VS copy of Blood Fury and that is where my book money went this month. It is a big purchase so I stayed away from buying any others. I’ve got WAY too many review books to catch up on anyway. Audible membership started back up this month, so that was my only other expenditure this month. Getting close to the end and still have a good amount left. I wonder what I should treat myself with at the end of the year!

November Book Haul

I’m excited for all of these and can’t wait to get started. I need to do it fast too, because I’m terribly behind on my Goodreads challenge again this year. Doesn’t look like I’m going to make it unless I settle down and get some more reading done. Very difficult to do since we are still mid-move and things are absolutely crazy. I have discovered that I am a creature that does not like change and while the rest of the family is extremely excited about the move, I’m feeling discombulated. I need to get back into a routine quick.

I ended up missing Thanksgiving due to a dog emergency. Spent the afternoon in the Animal ER with a fur baby who couldn’t pee anything but stones. Not to get too detailed, but he needed to have surgery to remove the unbelievable amount of stones he had in his urethra and bladder. The vet tried for an hour to get a catheter in by pulling out stones but still couldn’t get it in, so she ended up making a new, bigger hole for him to urinate from and hopefully expel the stones in his bladder. It has been really stressful as he has no control over his bladder and it’s been stone crazy around here. The vet thinks this is going to make a world of difference and he won’t be in pain anymore. I truly hope so, because for awhile there we thought our only option was to put him to sleep and we were not ready for that.

So, I’m about ready to say the end to this year and truly hope 2018 is going to bring me some peace and quiet. How was your November? Did you have a great Thanksgiving? I really missed getting some turkey so am looking forward to Christmas dinner! Which will NOT be at my house despite my father’s insistence. I do not cook. I can’t imagine trying to put on a holiday dinner! That’s a disaster waiting to happen!

Are there any December releases you’re looking forward to? I don’t seem to have a lot of them on my list, but there must be some I’m missing. Let me know you’re most anticipated December release!
