You've asked for years when Ophelia and Jamie would get their own story and now it's here! How will Ophelia adjust to living in a dorm room now that she has been banished from the Council and forced to matriculate at college with Jamie? Communal showers! Horrible, pretentious roommates! Humans who try to be FRIENDS! The horror!

I got such a kick seeing Ophelia trying to fit into the college scene. It was a whole new world for her. She had to learn how to make friends, and deal with Jamie having friends. I kind of felt bad for her trying to organize time with Jamie when he had so much going on.

Ophelia didn’t really scare me in the other books, and I also didn’t dislike her. I think it was her little sister that swayed me into liking her somewhat. So seeing her out of her element made me feel a bit bad for her, even though her reactions were funny as hell. After I thought about it, her reactions to some things would probably even be appropriate to other girls college or high school age. This was a good experience for her.

I am curious about the connection and communication with Jane. I’m wondering what kind of deal has really been struck here.

But in the end, the lessons Ophelia learns not only help her fit into her new life, but lead her and Jamie to a different level in their relationship.

Big Vamp on Campus was a quick read with a few laughs. You’ll love Ophelia’s outrageousness as she tries to aclimate to college living and not being queen of the Council. Be prepared for little on a plot line. We pretty much concentrate on Ophelia and her life on campus. Definitely a fun read though.
