Levels:
- Newbie (I’ll give it a try) 1-5
- Weekend Warrior (I’m getting the hang of this) 5-10
- Stenographer (can listen while multi-tasking) 10-15
- Socially Awkward (Don’t talk to me) 15-20
- Binge Listener (Why read when someone can do it for you) 20-30
- My Precious (I had my earbuds surgically implanted) 30+
Not knowing my listening patterns in 2013, I set a really low goal. My numbers in 2013 totally blew my goal out of the water. I was shocked by it, but I now had a better idea of what was attainable for me. Knowing this, I set my goal for 2014 all the way up there at “My Precious”. I didn’t consciously push for more books this year, instead I just listened normally thinking “ah, I got this”. Well, yes. I “got” it. What I didn’t anticipate was my discouragement with what little difference there was between 2013 & 2014. I only did 5 more books this year?! This is what happens when you get too comfortable in a win.
But! I did achieve the goal! So this was a win. I will take that and see if I can’t push just a bit farther in 2015.
So everyone, below are my audiobooks (with reviews linked), from 2014. There are some stragglers at the bottom that have not had reviews posted for them yet, but were indeed listened to in 2014. Keep an eye out in January as I will be taking part in the Best Audiobooks of 2014 Blog Hop Giveaway. Click HERE for sign up info.
