FORBIDDEN TEMPTATIONS

Serena Kelley is an archaeologist and treasure hunter-and a woman with a secret. Since she was seven, she's been the keeper of a powerful charm that grants her health and immortality . . . as long as she stays a virgin. But Serena isn't all that innocent. And when a dangerously handsome stranger brings her to the brink of ecstasy, she wonders if she's finally met the one man she cannot resist.

FATAL DESIRES

Wraith is a Seminus demon with a death wish. But when an old enemy poisons him, he must find Serena and persuade her to give him the only known antidote in the universe-her charm. Yet, as she begins to surrender to his seductions and Wraith senses the cure is within his grasp, he realizes a horrible truth: He's falling for the woman whose life he must take in order to save his own.

This is the book I’ve been waiting for since I started this series. I absolutely adore Wraith. His whole demeanor just oozes self-confidence and bad boy attitude. He has only a couple of rules when it comes to satisfying his Seminist needs, and this book is going to have him breaking rules. He gets really stuck between a rock and a hard place when he must break one of his rules to save his brothers, or break a different rule to save the world.

I think Wraith and Serena are perfect for each other! Their occupations are very similar and the adventure outside of the romance has them working together for a common goal. Even though they may not know quite all of the story. I did have some really sad moments for Serena when she has so much revealed to her all at once, but the whole gang comes together to battle the bad guy which in a way also helps Serena.

Another thing I loved was that a line of romance plot I’d been anxious to see about, and that I thought would probably get it’s own book, gets wrapped up in this story as well. So you don’t only get the excitement of the war, and the romance and wooing (is that still a word or did it go out of style?) of Wraith and Serena, but this other couple has a resolution (I least I think it is a resolution) to their situation. There is also an introduction to another character and I can’t wait to see where we go with him.

I loved this book. The narration was great, and I was so into the story I still get choked up about it! Major things happening here folks, don’t miss it!
