Naya James is a confident woman who also happens to be an exotic dancer. She doesn’t care if people judge her, just so long as they don’t disrespect her. Life has been good, but when two dancers from her club are kidnapped, Naya risks everything to uncover the truth.

Wheeler is the black sheep of the family, evident from his extensive tattoo collection to his dark personality. Nothing like his twin brother, Ben, who can do no wrong. Wheeler’s pack loyalty is put to the test when Austin orders him to act as a bodyguard for a woman he’s despised for years—one who presses his buttons every chance she gets.

A dark secret unravels, uniting two enemies and threatening to fracture the brotherhood of the pack. A tortured soul, a violent past, a fiery romance, and a shocking twist that will leave you breathless.

Naya is tough and independent and I really liked that about her. She knew what she wanted or wanted to do and just made things happen. She’s smart and knows how to work things to her advantage. Pairing her up with Wheeler was genius on Austin’s part. I don’t understand the saying that he’s the black sheep of the pack, but yet Austin trusts him to be a bodyguard for Naya. There has to be some trust there. That was a big, glaring that that bothered me with descriptions of Wheeler. Everyone made his body art sound like it was some bad, rebellious thing. Tattoos can make you stand out, but they don’t make you some black sheep, odd guy out. I really disagree with how tattoos were portrayed, but maybe the author couldn’t find another way to make Wheeler the type of person he needed to be.

I love the banter that Naya plays with everyone she talks to. She knows how to push buttons. She had pushed Wheeler’s buttons a bit too hard years ago and there is a lot of animosity there. But yet there is something there beyond the hatred that fascinates him. You know how they say there is a fine line between love and hate. I think you could say that applied here.

The story and how it connected with Wheeler’s past was awesome. I really loved how Naya was included in all the investigation and adventures. Wheeler didn’t try and put her on a shelf because she was a woman. He was fine letting her get in the midst of the fight and get her hands dirty. That part of their relationship was great!

Three Hours was a fun adventure with a relationship that was a wonder to watch develop. There were some stunning surprises that blew me away and make me wonder how certain characters will progress. This was another hot ride with the Weston pack!

I know I say this over and over, but Nicole Poole has me completely entranced when she narrates Dannika Dark’s books. I will definitely be looking up her other works when I get done with this audio series binge!
