The days are just running all together and flying by. So much is still going on in the world it is causing a ton of anxiety. I find I’m still hiding away in the world of Animal Crossing. I’m back at the office so I am getting some audiobooks listened to. Ebooks are still kind of slow for me despite being in the middle of a really good one. Everything just seems so difficult right now. It’s easier to just turn everything off and sleep. I’m so far behind in my Goodreads challenge I don’t think I will ever catch up. That makes me feel kind of bad.

So, due to all the covid-19 stuff, I’ve taken all the budgeted money from conventions and added them into my book budget. I am pretty sure there will be no conventions this year, so I might as well put that money somewhere fun. I was going through my library taking measurements trying to figure out how I can scale down the office area my husband uses so I can fit in another shelf or two. Shelf space is getting hard to come by and a lot of books are just getting set wherever I can find space and that is driving me nuts. Adding the money to my book budget probably isn’t the smartest thing to do when I have no shelf space. But I’ve been trying to grab hard covers of new releases before they run out and grab some virtually signed copies. I’ll find a way to organize so that I can fit everything, it will just take a little bit of ingenuity.

This month was a month of shelf books and audios. Flame by Donna Grant was a virtually signed copy and I was ecstatic to get it. However, my excitement dimmed when I saw that the publisher made a mistake and put the series number at the top of the spine instead of at the bottom like the rest of the series. Book 17 on my shelf. All sixteen of the previous books have the number at the bottom. Oh my head. I’m excited to have all these new releases on my shelf though!

How was June for you? Are you all staying safe and healthy? I’m still very anxious about going out. Have you read any of the great new releases that came out in June? I’m waiting for the audio of Heartless which is actually releasing like a month later than the ebook. I’m trying to be careful of spoilers. I hope everyone has a great July!
