So 2015 is over and everyone is making plans, goals and resolution for 2016. I’ve never been good with the whole execution of goals and resolutions. I did however, keep track of my bookish life habits over 2015 as I planned. Again, I thank Felicia @ Geeky Bloggers Book Blog for inspiring my plan to cut my book spending over 2015. She has found ways to cut her book budget AND have huge book hauls that leave me in awe!

So, are you all as interested as I am to see the results? Let’s get a drum roll please….

Well, overall, that was closer than I thought it was going to be. I was missing not attending the conventions, but now I see that if I had of gone, I would have totally blown my budget out of the water! Month by month it didn’t seem like this is where I would stand, but when I take the actual starting numbers and apply them with what I spent, its an eye-opener.

This adventure has made me more aware of what I’m spending. It has encouraged me to use the library more despite how much I hate their apps. I do think I need to find a way to balance it a bit more so that I can attend the conventions and still have enough for books. This will be my goal for 2016.

Here’s hoping for a plentiful, yet affordable 2016!
