Damned and Desperate is book 3 in the Eternally Yours series by Tara West. Ash and Aiden are on an adventure to sub-level 4 of hell to help rescue their friends. Unfortunately, they end up with a few tag-a-longs and nothing special besides God’s good wishes. If it wasn’t for the cheesecake, Mar probably wouldn’t be on the expedition. Unfortunately, Ash had more than her fair share while Aiden was approached by Mar and her family.
Ash and Aiden face multiple foe in this installment. Crazy dragons, spiders and more inhabit this level and the group must overcome all of them, as well as their own demons to rescue their friends. We go on a funny, exciting adventure as we navigate the traps and horny water. That water is going to cause some major issues.
I enjoyed Damned and Desperate. The group goes through so many dangerous ups and downs ad they deal with their relationship turmoil. There are some really interesting revelations. The Aiden/Mar situation was a bit annoying, but I really liked how it turned out.
I’m still not a fan of Aiden’s voice, but Hollie Jackson does well keeping the pace with the story and the characters. I do enjoy her narration of the series.
