Summoned to Thirteenth Grave was a long awaited installment. I was torn between wanting to gobble it up or read it slowly and savor every moment. That was answered when I got wrapped up in the story and flipped through the pages like I always do a Charley Davidson novel. We always get our overall […]
The Trouble With Twelfth Grave starts out a couple of days after Charley releases everyone BUT the true Reyes from the God Glass. One of the beings that has been released possibly has Reyes trapped inside him. He looks like him, talks like him, but is not the true Reyes. Once again we see this […]
Mercy is back! This series is such a fun urban fantasy series. We’ve seen Mercy grow from single, independent car mechanic, to the mate of the Tri-Cities Wolf pack. She’s fought and clawed her way through many fae, vampires and werewolves to achieve this new status as one of the strongest people in the area. […]
When you read a Charley Davidson novel, you need to be prepared for a fast-paced book. Everything happens quickly, which I would attribute to the amount of coffee our darling Charley consumes. Truly? I don’t think she sleeps. True to previous books, Charley takes on cases to work while she also wrestles with all she […]
Charley and the gang have all arrived home and this story takes place about a week later. Charley learned a lot at the end of Ninth Grave. Those secrets bring doubt in her relationship with Reyes. She is watching him closely to see if he is really aware of the things she learned. Reyes has […]
I think Mercy is one of the greatest shapeshifters yet. She’s a coyote playing with the big boys, but yet her strength isn’t lessened by her size. We’ve seen her really progress into a really confident person who deserves her position in life as the Alpha’s wife. I love how the relationship between Adam and […]
I was very unhappy with how Eighth Grave After Dark ended. That made me kind of leery going into The Dirt On Ninth Grave. I didn’t like where the storyline was headed and was just hoping that it would all turn around very quickly. The Dirt On Ninth Grave kept me both frustrated and intrigued […]
I’ve slowly been losing interest in this series. Tricky Twenty-Two may have been the killer. The last few books have pretty much been saved by Lula and Grandma Mazur. I didn’t find their antics as comical as before. The situations were different, but the basis for the joke was mostly rehashed from all the previous […]
