I was very excited to get this next installment in the Hidden Legacy series by Ilona Andrews. I knew I was going to miss Nevada, but was interested to see how Catalina took on being the Head of House Baylor. Catalina is not only Head of the House, but also the one heading up the […]
Sweep in Peace is book two in Ilona Andrews’ Innkeeper Chronicles series. In this series we have Dina who runs a special bed and breakfast for otherworlders. Dina’s job is to stay neutral and protect all those under her roof. That job is put to the test in this book as she becomes host to […]
The Andrews have created a new, interesting world in the Innkeeper Chronicles. We have vampires, werewolves and all kinds of species with an otherworldly explanation for them all. It is really original and sets the stage for the imagination to run wild. In Clean Sweep, the first book of the series, we meet Dina Demille. […]
Cursed By Fire is book one in the Blood & Magic series by Danielle Annett. It is an introduction to a world where shifters and vampires have come out to the world but the peace between all the races is tenuous. In Cursed By Fire, Ari is a PI investigating a disappearance of a little […]

In the 6th book in the World of the Lupi series by Eileen Wilks, we are treated to a new evil creature. Blood Magic reveals a lot of things about Lily and her Grandmother. Dragons play a big part in this book. I’ve been wanting to see more of them for awhile and we get […]
Mortal Sins is book 5 in the World of Lupi series by Eileen Wilks. I read this along with my book club. In Mortal Sins, Lily and Rule must investigate a case involving Death Magic. I include Rule when I say this, as even though he has other personal things going on, he is still […]

The few that are left at home are dealing with one crisis, while the rest that are on the mission delivering precious cargo dealing with a […]
