Our favorite foul-mouthed bookseller, Fern, is back and this time around she is in the spotlight. Fern picks up her life and moves to open a bookshop in the same town as Viv. Things do not go according to plan and Fern winds up traveling with a warrior in efforts to claim a bounty on a goblin. What starts off as an adventure turns into finding oneself as well as a found family. I adore Baldree’s writing style, it is so easy to get sucked into the story and you really feel for the characters. If you are a fan of adventurous cozy fantasy novels, you need to try this series.

Baldree is so talented, not only being the author of this amazing book but also narrating it. He does an amazing job as always, and I cannot wait to listen to whatever he writes next.
