Bookish Life Budget ~ April 2022 Update

Once again, I am late getting this up. It just seems like the months are flying by and I’m trying to fit everything in before it flies away from me. I am doing something I don’t normally do. I’m rereading. Some of the audios I’m listening to again I haven’t written reviews on, so this time I made notes. But I’m also listening to audios that I read the ebooks to YEARS ago. Like The Immortals After Dark series by Kresley Cole. I love Robert Petkoff as the narrator and he makes these audios a great listen. I’ll have to go slow because I don’t think I have enough credits to get this whole series at once, so I’ll have to treat myself with one here and there.

My book budget is up again. I once again grabbed a signed hardcover and then Audible had a great series sale. Because the prices were low on those, I paid money for them. But they had a lot of options. I got a few, but there were still more I left that I wanted. But, they were at least brought to my attention so I can add them to my TBR. Like I need more, right? 😉

This month most of my haul was audios. Like I said, that Audible sale got me. I’m going to try out that K.F. Breene series. It looks like a good urban fantasy. Born In Fire has a 4.16 rating on Goodreads, so I’m eager to get into it. I also got the first couple of books in The Immortals After Dark series. I am so glad to be listening this time. I saw on Goodreads the first time I read that series was in 2012 so this is definitely up for a refresh.
