We had a lot of stuff happen during May. My husband got the motorcycle he’s been dying for for forever, and I got a new car. It was the month of motor vehicles! My son and his wife had their first anniversary and she graduated from university with two degrees! It was a crazy month. I was still able to get lots of reading done and I’m pretty happy with my Goodreads challenge. I will be doing my mid-year audiobook challenge update coming up in June. I’m hoping I’ll have all my reviews added so my widget will show me at least halfway done. I feel like I’ve gotten more audiobooks listened to, but I still feel like I should be further along in the challenge.
So Buns and Roses tickets went on sale in May and my goal was to get tickets for Donna Grant’s table. I almost got online at 1am, but instead got on at 6am to order the tickets. I did get my ticket and reserved my bear so that is going to show up on my budget for this month. I don’t know if I can wait until October for this event! Due to Mother’s Day, I was able to get a couple of physical books I’d been wanting. Gotta love gift cards and wish lists! I also hauled some great audios. I’m having the weirdest problem with Edelweiss. I requested the same book on both Edelweiss and Netgalley. I was denied on Edelweiss and approved on Netgalley. I have yet to be approved for anything on Edelweiss. It says my profile is “Excellent” so I don’t know what I can do differently on that platform, but it is driving me crazy! I’m glad that I have so many other resources for review books. I don’t think I will bother with Edelweiss anymore. Here are all the goodies I collected this month!

I am so excited about my haul this month! There are some great reads. A few I’ve already read and I’m excited to get started on the others.
