What are your favorite posts to read?
My favorite posts from other bloggers are the fun ones that help you get to know the blogger. Like Book Tags, monthly or weekly summaries, these Tell Me Something posts, that type of thing. I just like getting to know the lives of the people who read the same books I do. Have you ever heard, “seeing someone reading the same book you read in the wild makes you best friends”? I don’t know where I saw that at, but it is kind of how I feel. This is why I continue to write somewhat personal, bookish posts. I enjoy them and I hope my readers do too.
Don’t get me wrong, I do like to read review posts too. For some reason I gravitate more towards reviews of books I’ve already read, so I can see if the blogger felt the same way I did. I also seem to click more on reviews of books on my TBR that I haven’t gotten to yet. That is something I have a hard time not doing, but know I shouldn’t for fear of spoilers. But, in some of those posts it helps me decide if I even want to keep that book on my TBR. Depending on how alike the blogger and I have been on other books.
