For the last month, I’ve been participating in the May Clean Sweep ARC Challenge hosted by Kimberly from Caffeinated Book Reviewer and Kristen at Addicted To Happily Ever After.
I may have greatly overestimated the depth of my reading slump. I was only able to actually complete two of the 8 books I had pledged. Pretty bad, I know. However, we ended up with a lot of new things happening this month that took up some time besides the slump. My daughter and her boyfriend spent most of April and May looking at houses. Being the overprotective, nosy mom I am, I attended a lot of the showings. The kiddos found one and then we spent this last week and a half moving. It happened so fast! Now my first birdie is out of the nest. Not sure how I feel about that yet. I’m still in moving exhaustion I think.
Anyway, enough with excuses, I did not meet my goal, but I will continue to work hard throughout the month of June to get caught up on all these ARCs. I can’t wait to see how everyone else did!

So close to finishing two others, just not quite there. Next time I’ll know first, not to be too ambitious and two, pick a month that is not so chaotic! 🙂
