December is normally the month of gifts. This month I received some great books as gifts. However, I did pick some up for myself. Book Outlet had this deal on to get a special bear when you spend over $35. If you posted a picture with your bear and used their hashtag, you would also be entered for a grand prize. I cannot bring myself to buy books I don’t need for my series collections, so I just missed the $35, but you can still enter!
With these new additions to my library, I have had to do some shelf rearranging. I have now removed all cook books I had on one shelf and put them on a shelf in another room altogether. I hated doing that, but I’m getting stuck. It freed up a lot of space though. I’m still debating on buying one more book case, just to use the shelves out of it to add to the cases I have now. The ones I have only came with a few shelves, and it can fit at least a couple more. My brilliant daughter came up with the plan, now we just need to buy the book case!
As this will be the last check in for 2015, I want to say I’m pretty pleased with myself. Here are December’s numbers:

So this was a month that included some gifts, some purchased and I finally did end up using some of my Audible credits. I always jump on the 2 for 1 sale they have. I also got really frustrated with Hoopla when I couldn’t download the book I wanted right that second, so I ended up using credits. Can’t waste listening time because Hoopla has reached its daily limit! It also helped that Audible told me I had to use two of my credits before the end of the month! They’ve been building up nicely since I started getting most of my audiobooks from the library.
