Summer vacation reading: What are some books you would recommend for vacation reading?

I have had a few great reads in the last month or so. There are some good recommendations, and if you haven’t started these series, then I definitely think you should! While you’re chilling on the beach or in the backyard, or even in the comfort of your air-conditioned home, you should definitely check these out!

Moonstruck is book 7 in the Crossbreed series. I think all Dannika Dark books should be listened to in audio. If you haven’t listened to or read Dannika Dark’s series, I would suggest starting with the Mageri series (Sterling), then the Seven series (Seven Years) then the Crossbreed series (Keystone). They are all within the same world and there is some crossover of characters. Not too much though so each of these series can be read on their own.

Wolf Rain by Nalini Singh is another book I recommend in audio. This book is book 3 in the spinoff series Psy-Changeling Trinity. You could jump in at the beginning of this series, but I really think the world is better understood if you read the Psy-Changeling series first.

Shadow Warrior is book 4 in the Shadow Riders series. It is such an interesting world. Hot heros with some kick ass heroines. I love this series. Christine Feehan does an amazing job with the world and these characters. Speaking of Christine Feehan, there is another series I think you all would love.

The Torpedo Ink series is truly awesome. It is so emotional and thought provoking. It contains very little magic, but wow, it ripped me apart. I read these books with my heart in my throat. The books deal with a lot of PTSD and human trafficking. They are not for the faint of heart!

There are so many more I could get into, but these are recent releases that are favorites of mine. Check them out this summer while you vacay in the sun!
