Why I like to read book reviews
As an avid reader, I’m always looking for new reads. Book reviews make a big impact on what books I choose. I follow a lot of blogs that read quite a bit of the same genre I read. Most of the time I agree with their ratings on books we’ve both read, so I trust their opinions. It is not very often I will add something to my TBR if people I trust have not given it a good review.
In a book review, I like to hear about the different components of the story. Like level of romance and action. I also enjoy hearing about the audio narration of books in case I decide that I want to listen versus reading the ebook.
I find reading book reviews helps me to narrow down my TBR, but introduces me to new reads that I wouldn’t otherwise know about. I really appreciate the time people take to review what they’ve read. There words make a big impact on what I read.
