Do you prefer action-driven books or quiet books?
I am definitely an action-driven reader. My preference for books runs with a great action plot mixed with a great romantic storyline. They have to balance out. Enough of both aspects that keep my interest.
Quiet books don’t keep my adrenaline up enough to keep me reading. If there isn’t some kind of plot that keeps my mind working I get bored. I get distracted easily so what I read has to have something exciting going on to keep me engrossed.
I prefer books that keep me on the edge of my seat. Wondering what is going to happen next, whether it be in some action plot or in a romantic relationship. Not that I prefer angst, because I certainly don’t. But I do prefer things that keep the question of “are they going to make it” at the top of my head.
