What are things that annoy me about blogging?
There really are only a few. I mean, if too many things annoyed me about blogging, then I just wouldn’t do it. The blog is a hobby and is meant to be fun. If it becomes too much of a chore, then I will just stop.
My number one, biggest, baddest annoyance is lack of topics. I would love to be one of those people that could just get an idea and pump out a post in no time. I get annoyed at myself because of my lack of creativity. Thank God for memes. (Here’s looking at you Heidi!)
The next thing that annoys me is kind of two fold. The lack of time I have to blog, along with the time it takes me to do a post. I am the first to admit, I may have a bit of a distraction problem. This would contribute to the length of time it takes me to do a post. But I get very frustrated when I can’t fit the time in to get a little ahead. I normally end up getting really annoyed on the weekends when I want to get at least a few posts accomplished but can’t seem to wrap my head around it. I know I shouldn’t force it. That is just taking the fun out of it. The thing is I really want to. Frustrating and annoying I tell you!
Another thing that annoys me is little glitches or fixes I want to do on the blog. I find my design fairly complex and just can’t get my head around it half the time. Here we go with the not having enough time to write posts. I can spend a whole day trying to make a simple change like a font or a bullet or something along those lines. Oh and don’t even get me started on images. A lot of blogs have some great images to go along with their posts. How is there time to do an image for each post? I would never be able to do it.
I try to weigh the bad with the good. If it stops being fun altogether, then I am not going to keep pushing myself. So for now, I’m going to just overlook the annoyances and keep trying to put together things that will keep me getting some visitors. Work on myself and my little quirks that contribute to my annoyances.
