What do you have to be thankful for?
So, I’m a little late with this, but the holidays coming up has my equilibrium totally screwed.
First I have to be thankful for my kids. They are 23 & 20. It has been a long road with them, at times thinking I wouldn’t survive it. We survived it in one piece!
I have been lucky that my husband recognizes my moods and can help me run interference when I can’t be out in the world. He also works his butt off for us.
Another obvious one is my parents. Without them, I wouldn’t be here for one. But they have also helped in any way they can when I find myself in a pinch.
I am thankful I have a job. There has to be some source of income to cover the cost of all these books!
I am really thankful to all my readers that pop by and leave comments. I wish I could get to everyone all the time. Everyone has such great posts out there, its hard to get to them all, but I try!
DFW Pug Rescue is a passion of mine and I am so glad they are in my life. They are devoted to saving the lives of pugs in our DFW area. We had a big breeder release in July and our Rescue was able to adopt out almost all of them. I’m fostering 2 from the release and I am very thankful that we caught them all when we did considering the conditions they were living in.
I am also thankful to be able to do Black Friday shopping from my couch!
A big one that needs to be addressed is authors. I am so thankful for the stories they provide. They help me escape.
As usual I know that there are more that I am forgetting. Happens all the time. Funny how it seems like my age is creeping up on me pretty fast.
What things are you thankful for? Do you have some plans for the holiday?
