Agnes Aubert runs a cat rescue that unfortunately needs a new shop to move into. She keeps getting the run around from landlords once they find out who the tenants will be. So, when she finds one that is so incredibly cheap and can be moved into immediately, she jumps at the chance. Little did she know that magical clientele would keep popping in to see The Witch King. Trouble brews and we see Agnes and Havelock (The Witch King) manage people working against him together. I fell in love with this book, Fawcett mixes just the right amount of whimsy into this story and it is just addictive. I adored the cats, they each had their own personality, and it shone through beautifully. If you are a fan of cozy fantasy books you should check this one out.
