I was sold at dragons but this book is so much more than that. Dragons are attacking the city and every citizen of Vinguard must complete the trials. It will weed out those that are dragon cursed and select the few that will go into the elite hunter team, the Mercy Guard. Isola is terrified that she is dragon cursed, that she will turn into the very beast that their city hunts. She has to somehow pass the challenges without being discovered. With great plot twists you will not see coming, Dragon Cursed will keep you on your toes and wanting the next book ASAP. I highly recommend this book for YA fantasy lovers.
