Despite the spoils of a solid relationship and an idyllic life at Keystone, Raven is itching for the thrill of another big case. Things begin to heat up when a dangerous assignment falls in her lap.
Searching for the mastermind behind an illegal fighting ring is no easy feat, but as the weeks roll by, Raven's undercover job begins to take an unexpected emotional toll. It's a deadly mission, and if she's not careful, she could lose everything.
The stakes are high in this powerful new installment of the USA Today best-selling Crossbreed series.

This is one of my favorite series to listen to. Dannika Dark and Nicole Poole are such a great combination that even though the audio for Heartless was released a whole month later than the ebook, I waited.
Raven is assigned to an undercover role as a bartender. She’s bait as they try to catch whoever is behind this fighting ring that is leaving people dead. Raven is so deep undercover that Christian can’t even be with her. Which makes for some interesting situations when we find out just who the boss of the bar is and then what Christian’s crazy ex is up to.
Raven is tough, but she is forced to deal with some inner demons. So we end up with little bits of everything mixed into this story of whodunit.
I love Raven and Christian together and they totally prove their relationship is a strong, reliable one. They are one of my favorite fictional couples. Besides, Christian is just all round amazing!
I hate how this ended. Not that it was a cliffhanger, but I had so much anger that I wanted a good resolution and I don’t feel like I got that. It is well written and leaves us chomping at the bit for the next installment and hopefully see the resolution I want.
Heartless was an emotional ride and I loved every minute of it, even if it left me crazed. All of the characters at Keystone are amazing and it is so great to see how they are all there for each other (even after some drinks)!
