Book Tag ~ 2018 Mid-Year Freak Out

Posted July 3, 2018 by Tanya in Book Tags / 0 Comments

I found this tag at Angel’s Guilty Pleasures who found it at Under The Covers Book Blog.

It’s that time of year when we can look back and see just how our year has gone. This is going to be a hard tag because I’ve been tearing through my books until recently, so picking just one or two is going to be difficult! Let’s get started and see how 2018 has been for me!

Best Book You’ve Read in 2018?

This is a tough question because I’ve read a lot of books this year so far that I’ve given five stars, so I’m going to give a few since I can’t decide. I’ll try not to pick all from the same series.

Best sequel you’ve read in 2018?

New Release you haven’t read yet, but you want to (Release that are out)?

Most anticipate release for the second half of the year (Not out yet)?

Biggest disappointment of the year?

Most surprising book of this year?

Favorite new author?

Newest fictional crush? Christian Poe!

Newest favorite character? Tamsin Calloway

A book that made you cry?

A book that made you happy? Yep, same series as Angela. About the only lighthearted book I read all this year.

Favorite book to movie adaptation?

I am not really sure if there have been any this year so far, but I am not a big fan of book to movie adaptations. I do not normally watch them unless I stumble across them on tv.

Favorite book review you’ve posted this year?

Believe it or not, I’m very insecure about my reviews and can’t really claim one as a favorite.

Most beautiful book you have bought this year?

Only listing physical books as I don’t really notice the covers on my ebooks.

What books do you need to read by the end of the year?

I don’t really feel like there are any that I need to read by the end of the year. I know there are the ones I want to read that I mentioned above as well as others that are being released this second half of the year.

What were your best and worst of the first half of 2018? It has gone so fast for me that I had to check the books to see if they were ones I was still excited about from 2017!
