This tag was created by Katytastic on Youtube, and I’m grabbing it from The Book Nut. We’re going to name books that we’ve read that feature the creature named. I think I’ve got all the creatures covered, but we will see. Let’s get started.

I’ve read SO many books with vampires, this one is really hard to choose. I’m going to go with J.R. Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood. Very nice vampires indeed! 🙂

I don’t know if this is supposed to include shifters or just werewolves. I’m going to go with shifters and the Shifters Unbound series. There are wolves in there amongst the other shifters!

I cannot read the word zombie without thinking of Angel in the White Trash Zombie series by Diana Rowland. She makes an awesome zombie and the books are so funny!

I can only tell you it is Vishous’s book from the Black Dagger Brotherhood. I believe there is a ghost in that one, if she can still be called a ghost at the end of the book.

For this one I’m going to go with Rachel from The Hollows by Kim Harrison.

I haven’t thought of this series in a long time, but I’m going to say the Merry Gentry series by Laurell K. Hamilton. I think there is still a book in that series I have to read…

This is a struggle. It is between Al in The Hollows series, or Forneus from the Ivy Granger series. They are both awesome demons that you can’t help but adore!

I’m thinking of the Demonica series by Larissa Ione. It is mostly fallen angels, but they do have to deal with some pretty hard headed angels as well.

This may not count but I’m going to put it out there. In the Midnight Breed series, they are called vampires, but their lineage is from an alien race. I think that is the best I’m going to be able to come up with for Alien!

Super-powered Human

I’m not sure on this one, because normally, if they were super-powered, they would be classified as something else. Like a witch or a warlock or something like that. How about we go with Audrey from The Edge series by Ilona Andrews. She has a pretty handy skill of picking locks, and I don’t think she has magic enough to be considered a witch.

Dark Lord

What the heck is a Dark Lord considered? I’m going to go with the assumption that it is Satan. If that is the case, I’m going to say Lucifer from Lucifer’s Daughter by Eve Langlais.

The book of elves that sticks out in my head is the Eternal Mates series by Felicity Heaton. She has some hot elves in those books!

So, that is the end of the tag, but I still feel like I can add more creatures. Like, what about Dragons? Anyway, as per the usual, I’m not going to tag anyone in particular, but I would love it if you chimed in and did the tag yourself. And if you could tag me @ReadingAddicted, that would be great. I’d love to see your answers! If you don’t have a blog to do the tag on, just show me your answers in the comments!

Reading this book contributed to these challenges:

  • Oh yes. The BDB is such a good vampire series. Loved those early books.

    • The early ones really were the best. Still love the series, but there were not as many storylines wrapped up in each book in those first ones.

  • This tag looks fun!

  • What a fun book tag. I’m going to save this one and get around to my own post one of these days. Thank’s for sharing.

  • Love the Black Dagger Brotherhood! There are still a few I need to read in that series. Great tag!

  • I have read every series you mentioned. LOL There were a lot of great options for some of those tags. I think my pick for ghosts would’ve either been Downside Ghosts or Night Huntress, you could also pick Women of the Otherworld. Werewolves,/shifters would be a hard one for me. I think I could list about a 1000 series. LOL. I’m listening Psy/Changeling right now, so that would probably be my pick. BEARS!!

    • OMG, I love the way they all say “bears” LOL With such exasperation. I giggle every time! I did not think about Night Huntress for ghosts. That was a good one. I haven’t read Downside Ghosts. Would Savannah’s mother (can’t remember her name for the life of me right now) have been considered a ghost. And Jamie communicates with them. Yes that would have been a good pick too. The shifters or werewolves was a tough one. You’re right, there are SO many of them it is hard to choose. I just finished the Shifters Unbound series, so they are sticking out in my mind.
