Welcome to the Feature & Follow

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!

To join the fun and make new book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:

    • (Required) Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Hosts {Parajunkee & Alison Can Read}
    • (Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers
    • Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
    • Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say “hi” in your comments and that they are now following you.
    • If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn’t have GFC (Google Friends Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed
    • Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don’t just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don’t say “HI”
    • If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love…and the followers
    • If you’re new to the follow Friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!

This week we are displaying our beautiful books in their homes. I am late posting because I was a wee bit embarrassed at my stacks and lack of organization, so I had to spend some time this evening straightening up before I could show you. Tomorrow though, my daughter and I are rearranging the office and putting in two new shelves so I will post pics when done that. For now, let’s take a tour…

IMG_20130902_145024_676 this was a close-up I took last week before heading to the used book store.  Wanted to make sure I didn’t get something I already had.

IMG_20130902_145113_957 same here with this one.  Missing a few out of the series here and needed a visual reminder as to the ones I needed.

IMG_20130902_145155_281  Yes, another “you have this already” reminder.  I do this before each book store visit.

IMG_20130906_201107_305  Book shelf one.  As you can see, I like my hard back covers showing.  Normally I would only display my signed copies this way, but I had to put Acheron and Styxx up there.  Hopefully with the new arrangement of shelves this weekend I will be better able to display my signed hardbacks the way I want to.

IMG_20130906_201146_635  Same shelf, different few.  My eye keeps straying to Styxx.  I have got to hurry up and get to it!

IMG_20130906_201228_028  Bookshelf two.  That massive mess on the top is my display of bookmarks.  It’s a mess, I know, but I just can’t tuck them away where I can’t see them!  Also notice I have a shelf within a shelf.  That is called laziness people.  I won that shelf full of books and I cleared a spot and set the whole shelf on there.  I will probably never get that shelf onto a wall.

IMG_20130906_201258_761 Speaking of wall shelves.  This is one that actually got up.  It has a twin… somewhere.

IMG_20130906_201434_335  This is just a whole lotta “pile it up”.  I at least hid all the ink cartridges piling up before I took the pic.  Actually very little on this shelf is mine.  The Kim Harrison and Janet Evanovich hard covers are mine, but all those cook books and work out books, I don’t know where the hell they came from, lord knows I haven’t read them.

So that is my stack.  I can’t wait to get it all re-organized!  Do you have a specific way you like to organize your books?
